NEMISA ELECTRONIC MEDIA

my week at school As my time here at school draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on these past three months. It’s been a journey filled with growth, new knowledge, and plenty of unforgettable moments. I’ve learned so much, from navigating dashboards to mastering Excel and confidently presenting with PowerPoint. These are skills I’ll carry with me long after I leave. However, what truly made this experience special weren’t just the lessons but the people I had the privilege to work and grow with. The challenges we faced together turned into lessons, and the friendships I’ve made will stay with me as the highlight of this time. Saying goodbye is never easy, but I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn and for the incredible people who made this experience so rewarding. Thank you for all the shared memories, support, and growth. I’m excited about what’s ahead, knowing I’m walking away with new skills and a heart full of appreciation. This may be the end of this chapter, but...

MY THIRD WEEK AT SCHOOL  The third week at National Electronic Media (NEM) has been an exciting and educational experience for me as a student studying End User Computing (EUC). During this week, I had the chance to explore more about how technology supports the daily operations of a large media organization. It helped me connect what I’ve learned in class to real-world situations, giving me a better understanding of the role of end-user computing in the media industry. One of the main activities during the week was getting to know the Maths support team. This team is responsible for maintaining the technology used across the organization, from the newsroom to the production floor. I observed how the maths staff handles a variety of software and hardware problems that arise daily. Whether it’s a computer issue or a network glitch, the technical team ensures everything runs smoothly so that the media team can continue producing content without delays. I also had the opportunity to...

my 4      According to my experience has been both exciting and challenging. This course has allowed me to explore how media influences public opinion, shapes society, and affects national policies. One of the most interesting assessments in the course was the tutoring assignment, which gave me a chance to help my classmates understand key concepts while reinforcing my own knowledge. The tutoring assessment was designed to encourage active learning and engagement. I was given the responsibility to lead discussions, explain media concepts, and help my peers with their understanding of topics such as media regulation, broadcast journalism, and digital media. The goal was for me to act as both a learner and a teacher, which provided a unique perspective on the material we were studying. One of the first steps in the tutoring process was to prepare lesson plans. This meant reviewing our course materials carefully, selecting important topics, and finding ways t...

my second week at school The class presentation on national electronic media was an incredibly informative and engaging experience. It provided a deep dive into how national electronic media operates and how it plays a significant role in shaping public opinion, disseminating news, and entertaining audiences. As a student aspiring to work in the media industry, the presentation helped me understand both the challenges and opportunities that come with working in this field. The presenter began by giving us an overview of the history of electronic media, starting from the early days of radio to the rise of television and the current dominance of digital platforms. This historical context was important because it helped us appreciate the rapid technological advancements that have transformed the media industry and made it possible to reach global audiences. The presenter also shared relevant statistics on media consumption, showing how digital platforms like social media and stream...
