MY THIRD WEEK AT SCHOOL The third week at National Electronic Media (NEM) has been an exciting and educational experience for me as a student studying End User Computing (EUC). During this week, I had the chance to explore more about how technology supports the daily operations of a large media organization. It helped me connect what I’ve learned in class to real-world situations, giving me a better understanding of the role of end-user computing in the media industry. One of the main activities during the week was getting to know the Maths support team. This team is responsible for maintaining the technology used across the organization, from the newsroom to the production floor. I observed how the maths staff handles a variety of software and hardware problems that arise daily.
